It was also the 443rd home run of Beltre’s potentially Hall of Fame career and marked the fifth season the slugger has hit at least 30 home runs, with three of those seasons coming with the Rangers.

Holland (7-8) allowed five runs and seven hits in 5 1/3 innings. Springer led off the first with his 27th home run to tie it at 1.

Manager Jeff Banister has instilled this belief in a simple 3 worded phrase that is packed loaded with so much ammunition at this point.

“Obviously I didn’t perform very well”, Holland said. Not pleased with what happened today. So, what are we really supposed to say here, have fun enjoying Houston in October?

Down two starting infielders, the Astros did one thing they have struggled to do this season – finish off the Rangers.
