Asus launches new variant of ZenFone 2 Laser

Asus has launched the ZenFone 2 Laser (ZE601KL) in India at Rs 17,999. The ZenFone 2 Laser (ZE601KL) packs 16GB of built-in storage and supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 128GB). The device will be available via various e-commerce portals such as Amazon, Flipkart and Snapdeal.

The company said the smartphone will also be available on offline channels, from the second week of December. The processing tasks are handled by a 64-bit hexa-core Snapdragon 615 CPU up to 1.7 GHz, paired with an Adreno 405 GPU and 3 GB of RAM.

Recently, The company started the sale of another ZenFone 2 Laser smartphone variant with 5.5 Inch Display in October, priced at Rs. 13,999. Besides, it has a 13 megapixel auto focus rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera. This camera boasts of features such as Zero Shutter Lag, more than 10+ Modes like: Back Light (HDR) mode with ASUS PixelEnhancing Technology for up to 400% brighter and evenly exposed photos, Low Light mode with ASUS PixelMaster Technology for up to 400% brighter photos and videos, Manual Mode for DSLR-like camera detail settings, Super resolution mode for up to 52MP resolution photos. The Asus ZenFone 2 Laser will be available in three colours variants – Red, Gold and Silver. The smartphone comes with dual-SIM dual standby and it runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop-based ZenUI operating system.

ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser 6 is kept alive by a 3,000 mAh battery which should be able to get the device through a full day of usage. This phone is compatible with 4G LTE with downloadable speed of upto 150Mbps.

The handset also features some of the sensors like e-compass, gyroscope, accelerometer, proximity light, and ambient light.
