The Taiwanese tech giant confirmed that the Zenfone Max will be made available at its exclusive stores and other brick-and-mortar retail stores across India from second fortnight of January onwards. The lithium-polymer battery, when fully charged, offers ultimate ease of usability and peace of mind to users by providing 37.6 hours of 3G talk time or 32.5 hours of Wi-Fi web browsing or 72.9 hours of music playback or 22.6 hours of video playback. Additionally, it can also work as a power bank to other devices. At its heart is a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with up to 2 GB of RAM.
A lot of OEMs are trying to steal the market by launching phones with mammoth-size batteries including Gionee’s Marathon series which are a little pricier than the new Zenfone Max and Lenovo’s Vibe P1/P1m which are also addressing the same niche audience.
