However if you prefer the round design, then the ZenWatch 3 might be what the doctor ordered. Asus ZenBook 3 was also featured on stage.

Complementing the cold-forged steel body is your choice of exercise-friendly rubber or Italian leather for the wrist strap (both are available in either beige or dark brown). The company most well-known in the Android Wear space as being the budget smartwatch maker has continued that trend with the ZenWatch 3, but this time bringing a much more stylish watch with a circular display and three side buttons…

All told, anyone who buys the ASUS ZenWatch 3 will be able to choose from different materials for the watch straps as well as different strap colors and different case finishes to provide each customer with a unique look that is personalized to their style.

The ZenWatch 3’s display is a 1.39-inch AMOLED job protected by Gorilla Glass, while under the hood there’s a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor that apparently uses 25% less power than its predecessor, resulting in a claimed battery life of up to two days.

Asus is also showing at Ifa its latest smartphones from the Zenfone 3 family, first unveiled at the end of May and now starting to ship. The ZenWatch 3 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor which was created to sip energy compared to the Snapdragon 400, boasting a consumption of about 25 percent less power. Moreover, ZenWatch 3 also comes with IP67 water resistance and HyperCharge technology which can juice up the watch up to 60 percent in merely 15 minutes.
