Asus ZenPad 3S 10 Coming to Rival the iPad Air
Asus unveiled the Zenpad 3s 10 at the IFA 2016 in Berlin. This can be seen from the aluminum chassis to the 5.8mm thickness and the sandblasted matte finish on the back. Billed as the world’s thinnest tablet, the ZenPad 3S 10 has a screen-to-body ratio of 78%, which makes it one of the most compact 9.7-inch tablets available. The display is bordered by a 5.3mm-thin bezel, which the company is claiming to be the world’s thinnest on a tablet. ASUS initially announced the ZenPad 3S 10 earlier this Summer back in the middle of July, with an August 1st launch date for the Taiwanese market set at a price of TWD 11,000, which is roughly $342 Dollars.

The tablet is powered by a hexa-core MT8176 processor from MediaTek. Although the screen is already decently large at almost 10-inches, it was created to feel bigger as the ZenPad 3S 10 offers up a 78 percent screen to body ratio, allowing users to get the absolute most out of their entertainment and other functions from the tablet. It offers 64GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB by installing microSD cards.
It is also the first ASUS tablet to feature a fingerprint sensor, which also works in supported apps for authentication. It is backed by a 5,900mAh battery that promises to offer 10 hours of battery backup.
While the tablet has a MediaTek processor, the battery supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 fast-charging technology. ASUS has included its Tru2Life video-enhancement technology, which increases the sharpness and contrast of videos by intelligently analyzing every pixel in a video frame.

The tablet also features a powerful stereo audio system with new five-magnet speakers for loud and clear sound. One of such manufacturers is Asus, which revealed its new ZenPad 3S 10 tablet today.
