Asus ZenWatch 2 arrives in Canada this October
But we did learn full details on the forthcoming ZenWatch 2 including its terrific pricing which undercuts the Apple Watch by some margin.

Asus has priced the ZenWatch 2 aggressively with the larger model selling for €149 (approximately $170) and the smaller variant for €169 ($190) with shipments starting globally in October.
Personalization is going to be a key component for the Zenwatch 2, as ASUS has prepared a lot of different colors and straps. On the inside, from the specs to the software, there’s little difference between the new wearable and its predecessor, but depending on your choice of body finish and strap, two ZenWatch 2s can look like completely different products.
Asus just presented us with the ZenWatch 2 at IFA 2015 and we’ve wasted no time toying with this new smart timepiece.
The ZenWatch 2’s AMOLED screen is covered in a 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass 3 panel, and measures 1.63 inches on the bigger watch, and 1.45 inches on the smaller one. Three months later, we’re much closer to ASUS’s planned launch of the ZenWatch 2, and they’ve decided to release essentially all the information one would need to know about the watch.
It also packs some exclusive features like watch-to-watch communication, which, for example, lets you send emojis to other ZenWatch users – mimicking a feature of the Apple Watch. The ZenWatch 2 will be among the cheapest Android Wear smartwatches in the market when it goes on sale. The 2nd get of the Zenwatch also has better charging now as it can refill your smartwatch from 0 to 50% in 36 minutes.
The price and the availability of this camera centric in Europe isn’t available as of now.
“The larger watch has the model number W1501Q, measures 1.96″ x 1.6” and it’s designed for use with 22mm wrist straps.

If the ZenWatch 2 has a USP, it’s customisation. Additionally ASUS promises an improved battery life, but there are no precise details. It also ships with a redesigned magnetic charger in the packaging and could last up to two days on a single charge.
