At Iowa Rally, Glenn Beck Endorses Ted Cruz for President
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) apparently isn’t going to let real-estate mogul Donald Trump’s new attack ad go unanswered.

Daniel Klinghard, an Associate Professor fo Political Science at College of the Holy Cross, told GoLocal he saw similarities between the tones of Sanders’ and Trump’s camapigns. Ted Cruz, who is now playing second fiddle to Donald’s first place position in Iowa, weighed in on the subject following the rally. “I believe I have found him”.
The same day as the Republican group’s endorsement, Trump recirculated a tweet from a Twitter user with the handle “WhiteGenocideTM”.
Beck’s endorsement comes the same week as GOP frontrunner Donald Trump’s endorsement by former Alaska governor Sarah Palin. Candidates who do well in those early contests usually gain support, campaign contributions and a bump in the polls, while those who don’t can see their poll numbers shrink and their donations dry up. Both are aggressively courting evangelical voters, Tea Partiers and social conservatives in Iowa.
Having angered veterans with his quip at Mr McCain’s expense, Mr Trump caused outrage when he mocked a disabled newspaper reporter, Serge Kovaleski, who suffers from a congenital joint condition.
At his Sioux Center event, Trump called Beck a “loser” and “sad sack”.
Despite issuing numerous of controversial statements since entering the race, Trump continues to hold a huge lead nationally over the rest of the Republican field – 17 points ahead of his closest rival Sen.
With obvious exaggeration, he charged that one Republican candidate, “for over 60 years of his life”, supported so-called partial-birth abortion and a “Bernie Sanders-style socialized medicine for all”.
The conservative magazine National Review made waves today when it published a special edition devoted to attacking Donald Trump’s presidential campaign. “Number one, Canada – he could run for the prime minister of Canada, and I wouldn’t even complain because he was born in Canada”, Trump said, repeating that Cruz’s birthplace could disqualify him from the race, though many experts say the opposite.
Trump has joked about murdering people in the past, according to CNN. “It has to be someone who tells you exactly what they are going to do as president”. On the Democratic side, the Register picked Hillary Clinton. Working people, in city and countryside, are looking for answers to why this is happening, and what can be done about it. And they’re increasingly fed up with “establishment” ruling-class politicians – Democrat and Republican alike – who they see as part of the crisis being visited on them.
