‘At Last’ Episode of GREY’S ANATOMY on ABC

A gun incident brought two young boys to the E.R. on the latest episode of Grey’s Anatomy. The fallout from that Sofia custody storyline wrapped up pretty quickly – even though Arizona’s (Jessica Capshaw) getting fed up with Callie’s many requests to see Sofia outside of the schedule they agreed to. I’m becoming less and less convinced that this will all be resolved by one of them just saying, “Should we just get back together?” in the season finale. “You think you’re making all these choices and building this life when none of this is yours…You are living in my house, helping to take care of my child, with my sister”. And it’s been a goddamn delight to watch, not least of all because Ellen Pompeo is clearly having a blast playing the more mature but also snakier side of Meredith. She knows this is it. They struggled and fought to get back together and double down on their relationship.

“Meredith and Maggie support Amelia on an important day; Jo reveals that she has been keeping secrets from Alex while Arizona and Callie deal with the impact of their custody arrangement”. We don’t see Owen say yes, but the commercial for next week’s episode promises “the wedding event of the season”. Now they’re moving on and building the kind of life she once had with Derek, it’s far harder to be magnanimous. Conspiracy theory: Jo can’t marry Alex because she’s already married, or in the witness protection program, or possibly married to someone in the witness protection program. And Meredith’s cold accusation that Amelia is infiltrating her life sends them both into a tailspin.

Second promo video of the penultimate segment teases a heartfelt conversation between Kyle and Stephanie. But though they make up and start forming big romantic plans, all that rushing and waiting ultimately proves fruitless after Kyle dies in Amelia’s O.R.

“At Last” will also find Stephanie reconnecting with Kyle and, if the sneak peek is any indication of what’s to come, the duo seem to indeed have moved past their temporary break-up.

In the previous episode, Arizona was granted sole custody of Sofia after she and her estranged wife battled it out in court. Arizona and Callie are at odds and put their friends in the middle of an uncomfortable situation. It shows Owen and Amelia sharing an intimate moment. This terrifies Stephanie (Jerrika Hinton), who recently broke up with him, because she still has feelings for the artist. Callie has chose to stay in Seattle to be close to her daughter. I manly missed you.
