At least 11 babies killed in Baghdad hospital fire

At least 11 newborn babies were killed in a fire at a Baghdad hospital overnight.

According to local media 29 female patients were rescued from the fire, along with seven babies. An initial investigation said the fire was caused by an electrical fault.

Yesterday, at least 70 journalists and lawyers were killed in a blast that shook a hospital in the southwestern city of Quetta in Pakistan. A large part of the hospital was damaged by the fire.
