At least 30 dead after truck rams Bastille Day crowd in Nice

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Nice, France as they work to deal with the challenging and troubling circumstances created by this horrific attack”, according to the sheriff’s department statement.

Several weapons, guns and grenades have since been found inside the vehicle, Mr Estrosi has confirmed.

An American witness at the scene told CNN the driver of the truck was mowing bodies over, that he appeared to accelerate as he hit those bodies.
