At least a dozen dead in Italy train crash
The two trains were travelling on a single-track line when they crashed into each other between the coastal towns of Bari and Barletta around 11am.

An aerial image reportedly showed train carriages were smashed and crumpled by the head-on collision, with debris spread out on either side of the track. Italy’s Prime Minister Matteo Renzi said the train crash marked a “moment of tears”, media reports said.
“There will be a full inquiry to find out who is responsible for this crash, and what has happened”, Renzi told reporters Tuesday in Milan. At least a dozen people were killed and dozens of others injured.
