At Least One Person Killed as Suspected Tornadoes Hit Florida Gulf Coast
Authorities have said several homes around both towns have collapsed or had their roofs torn off, and devastated residents filled social media with photos of the destruction.

The sheriff’s office says two people inside were killed.
The National Weather Service said there were at least three reports of tornadoes overnight in Florida, according to the Weather Channel.
Manatee County EMS officials tell WFLA-TV that several people were injured as severe weather pushed through Duette and Siesta Key in Sarasota and Manatee counties early Sunday morning. Winds were estimated to have reached 70 miles per hour in Sarasota.
This was the third day in week Southwest Florida has been dealt a blow by severe weather.
