At site of Pentagon attack, Obama appeals for unity, acceptance of diversity
To the survivors of 9/11 and the families of victims, Obama said: “Even as you’ve mourned, you’ve summoned the strength to carry on”.

“Groups like al-Qaida and ISIL know that they will never be able to defeat a nation as great and as strong as America”, Obama said, using an alternative acronym for the Islamic State militant group. This is the America that was attacked that September morning. “That we stay true to ourselves”.
They believe that rogue elements within the U.S. government orchestrated or at least encouraged the 9/11 attacks in coordination with Israeli and Saudi Arabian officials to accelerate the United States war machine and advance the Zionist agenda.
ABC News reports President Obama will commemorate the 9/11 anniversary by observing a moment of silence in the White House at 8:46 am, which is the moment when American Airlines Flight 11 crashed into The North Tower of the World Trade Center.
Obama said that 15 years after the attacks, the threat of terrorism has evolved. Jerry D’Amadeo, who was 10 when he lost his father, Vincent Gerard D’Amadeo, said he worked this summer with children at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, where 26 children and adults were massacred in 2012.
President Obama plans to visit the Pentagon today to memorialize the 15th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks.
“We’ve dealt devastating blows to al Qaeda”. In New York City, a memorial ceremony will be held at the World Trade Center site. “And we’ll keep doing everything in our power to protect our homeland”, Obama said.
In Kabul, the top American commander in Afghanistan, General John Nicholson, paid tribute to members of the NATO-led coalition and Afghan security forces who had been killed since the Taliban regime fell. The divider on the stage is Donald Trump, whose rhetoric is such a far cry from the above it’s enough to make us wonder how he ever got elevated to the status of the Republican presidential nominee.
“As Americans, we do not give into fear”, Obama continued. “Write them on the table of your heart”.
Almost 3,000 people were killed in New York, Pennsylvania and at the Pentagon when al-Qaida terrorists crashed the airplanes in those locations. Since then the U.S. has embarked on several security-ridden initiatives and wars overseas to foreclose possibility of future attacks.
