AT&T starts to push out Windows 10 Mobile Anniversary Update
Of course, they should all be disabled to improve system performance, and free utilities like Spybot Anti-Beacon are always useful to combat any telemetry settings that may have been reenabled in the process.

In the blog post, Michael Niehaus, a Microsoft senior product marketing manager for Windows, said that Microsoft is working on a future fix. New Extensions can be downloaded from the Windows Store and there is a new Extensions entry on the main menu bar for Edge which will allow you to manage them.
Microsoft started launching the Mobile Anniversary Update for Windows 10 last week. That honor goes to the Lumia 550, a phone that’s not even in the Top 10 of Windows phones in the world (check the previous slide). “Windows 10 continues to have the highest satisfaction of any version of Windows”. Privacy advocates have argued that Windows 10 sends back location, text input, voice input, touch input, websites you visit, and other telemetry data to Microsoft. This is because our goals is to get our latest innovations and the best experience in the hands of the most customers as fast as possible. Just about two years later, the company is killing its Windows Phone app. All of this combined with a lack of interest from carriers to release the update, points to some more problems for Microsoft’s fleeting mobile division. You may see a User Account Window pop up asking if you want to proceed; click Yes.
The mobile market is dominated now by Android and iOS and that is not going to change anytime soon. The Microsoft Lumia 535 still has the most share, with 12.3%. That is good business sense and decision making.
The EFF urged Microsoft to come clean with users, acknowledge its missteps and offer meaningful opt-outs to users who wanted them, preferably on a single unified screen.
I know that makes for a hard pill to swallow on the part of fans and enthusiasts but it is the reality of where things are today.

As it seems, the EFF is still pressuring Microsoft into clearing up the privacy issues for their users.
