At WWDC 2016, Apple is finally embracing Not Apple

While much of the attention has focused on the differential privacy announcement Apple made during its Worldwide Developers Conference earlier this week, The company also made some important security changes to both iOS and OS X that are created to provide some long-term protections for users.

One of the best-received news coming out of the WWDC was Apple’s decision to finally let users uninstall its iOS stock apps.

According to Irish Examiner, the iOS 10 will also come with a redesigned lockscreen, adding shortcuts so user can quickly access music apps and the camera, interactive live updates with apps like Uber and rich messages. It has its individual dark mode and you can also check the single sign-on useful for cable logins.

The release of iOS 10 will also open up the Siri intelligent assistant to developers with SiriKit, enabling the creation of new apps that integrate with Siri. Some instructions have turned up that claim to show you how to install iOS 10 on your device without needing a developer account.

“If you’re developing a new app, you should use HTTPS exclusively”. A Skype call can ring your phone with the same interrupt-driven interface as if you got a phone call or a FaceTime invitation.

You know that long-awaited change Apple quietly slipped into iOS 10? After you find the profile, you need to enter your pass code and reboot. There was a time when allowing third-party telephony services favored access to the iPhone would’ve seemed like something that would never happen, but with iOS 10 it will be a reality.

You probably haven’t opened it for a few years, and if you’re unlucky, it’s been crashing nearly every game since it broke for a high proportion of users a few months ago.
