Athletes respond to Donald Trump’s ‘locker room talk’ defense of taped comments

If you conduct locker room talk everywhere, it’s not the locker room, it’s you motherf-er. Tom Brady walked away from a news conference when asked about the candidate he has previously supported. Before walking off the podium, Brady smiled and said, “Thank you guys”.

“He did not say the word sexual assault”, Conway said, adding that Trump “respects women”.

Considering Trump didn’t even make his comments inside a locker room, the excuse makes even less sense.

The specific question Brady was asked was how he would explain to his children Donald Trump’s definition of “locker room talk”.

Brady, a Trump supporter, took a different route. “There’d be a putting green on the White House lawn”.

“No, I didn’t say that at all… this was locker-room talk”. It would be great.

Haslem’s comments get to something here.

The coaching staff at another Dallas-area high school, Grapevine, held a team presentation that dealt directly with Trump’s comments. Pro athletes are saying this, too.

Kanellis-Bennett was in the “boardroom” of the reality show during Season Nine when she criticized fellow contestant and professional chef Curtis Stone for coming into the women’s dressing room, using their bathroom, and taking a ‘crap, ‘ and leaving behind a stench.

Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James. “I’m sure, but that’s nothing that any of my peers or anybody that I know would say”, Watkins said. “And she was married”.

“People, we have to admit this, Trump has officially broken nearly every record of scumbaggery in politics”, Noah added. They were a central point of discussion in Sunday’s second presidential debate against Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton. “You can do anything”.

Those comments are one of many from athletes in many different sports who’ve complained about such a characterization.

Degrading and disrespecting our mothers, sisters, daughters, and wives is not OK in locker rooms or boardrooms, at country clubs, on buses, or anywhere else. Guys have their kids in here. “If it’s continuously happening, they don’t need to be in that locker room”.

Mr. Trump himself said he had learned and that this sort of talk was not the real him.
