The 32-year-old Farah has not competed since the allegations last month that his coach Alberto Salazar, who is based in the United States, was involved in breaking anti-doping rules.

The double Olympic, world and European champion says his training is going well and that racing that distance at the Diamond League meeting on July 24 will be “the best possible preparation” ahead of the IAAF World Championships in Beijing where he will hope to successfully defend his 5000m and 10,000m titles.
Farah said: ” The race will be exciting on the Friday night at the Olympic Stadium.
The 32-year-old, victor of the 5,000 and 10,000 metre Olympic titles at London 2012, has not raced in the six weeks since the BBC Panorama expose of Salazar.
Although American coach Salazar has denied these allegations, Farah insisted that his coach would soon be providing evidence to make this clear.
Farah has not been accused of any wrongdoing and has welcomed subsequent investigations by United Kingdom Anti-Doping and the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency.
This month’s event will be the last time the original London 2012 track is used before a new surface is laid for the 2017 world championships.
Farah will follow his French expedition with a 1500m race in Monaco eight days later before he heads to the sight of his iconic victory for the Anniversary Games at London’s Olympic Stadium.

Also in action in Lausanne will be the two fastest men in the world this year as Justin Gatlin and Asafa Powell clash over 100m, with Tyson Gay also in the field.
