Atlantic storm likely to strengthen to tropical depression or storm Friday

The National Hurricane Center in Miami issued a “special tropical weather outlook” Thursday morning saying showers were increasing with the low pressure system between Bermuda and the Bahamas.

Forecasters noted that projecting this season’s activity is “particularly hard”. LOCALLY I think we will have slight chances for afternoon storms each day, but a washout isn’t expected at this time.
