Atletico Madrid Still Want Diego Costa
Given that Chelsea are also chasing Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid, if that deal takes place, Atletico are hopeful of signing Diego Costa from Chelsea.

The Independent are reporting that West London side Chelsea are not happy by Atletico’s pursuit of the Spanish striker, and have now warned Costa’s former employer that they’ll be reported to Federation Internationale de Football Association because Madrid’s president, Enrique Cerezo, commented on the situation stating that a deal was close, before backtracking on his comments.
However, Atletico Madrid has made it clear that they consider Bacca as their second-option and will only go after the player if they fail to sign Cosa.
Indeed, Atletico Madrid are desperate to have Costa back at the Vicente Calderon and are banking on Chelsea agreeing to sell the striker this summer.
And while that continues to be the case, there is still the possibility of a re-shuffle in the striking department at Stamford Bridge.
The Reds are set to be a little light in the left-back area with Brad Smith closing in on a £6million move to Bournemouth, but The Sun believe he will act quickly to sign a replacement.
