On Saturday RJD senior leader and Lok Sabha MP Taslimuddin while demanding Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s resignation had said that, “I want the alliance with JD (U) to end immediately as Nitish Kumar is not fit to be a chief minister of the state”.
Meanwhile, former union minister and Araria Lok Sabha member Taslimuddin on May 21 once again trained his gun at Nitish Kumar government urging RJD boss to snap its ties with JD (U). You have also praised PM Narendra Modi and (you) seem to speak the language of the RSS.
“We have requested the RJD boss Lalu Prasad to take action against both Raghuvansh Prasad Singh and Mohammad Taslimuddin”.
Interestingly, RJD leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh, who had also criticised Nitish recently, has not been issued a showcause by the party.
While the showcause is seen as a damage control exercise by the RJD leadership to avoid any confrontation with its ally JD (U) and give rest to speculations of growing rift between the GA partners over power sharing in the government, many GA leaders felt the indictment of RJD MP was quite “soft” as he was not asked to specifically why he had spoken against the CM in objectionable manner. “It would be detrimental for the RJD to continue in alliance with theJD (U) as all its misdeeds would have to be carried on by the partyunder public glare”, RJD MP pointed out.

Paswan said here the three RJD leaders have alleged law and order has deteriorated in Bihar and Nitish Kumar has failed in checking crimes. “It is not good to serve a show cause to a senior leader like Taslimuddin by the party. I would sit and talk to them”, the TMC chief said, drawing positive, as well as muted and disinterested responses from key regional players. The Aam Aadmi Party said it was against any third-front idea.
