Attenborough ‘narrates’ Pokemon Go

You might think that David Attenborough and Pokémon Go was a marriage in heaven waiting to happen. In hindsight, with the soaring popularity of Pokemon Go, it was only a matter of time someone would come up with this brilliant move.

If you leave out the hunting and enslaving bit, it’s pretty much an interactive David Attenborough documentary.

The only shame is that Sir David hasn’t actually knowingly commentated on rare Pokemon because that would be an awesome bonus feature for the game to offer.

“Hunting (Pokemon) need hunting grounds”.

“It is, of course, a bird, a red-tailed hawk”, says Attenborough when he comes across a Pokemon called Spearow. Speaking about a Charmander, he gives a little history, informing us that “until human beings devised weapons for themselves, this was the most powerful killer on earth”. “That is one bat that will not return to the roost tonight”, he adds after it’s been caught by the player.
