Robin Williams‘ widow Susan and his three children from previous marriages have reached a settlement in their legal fight over the late actor’s estate.

“The Williams children will receive the vast majority of the items they demanded, such as more than 50 bikes and over 85 watches, as well as thousands of never-disputed items like Robin Williams’s Academy Award statue”.
Susan Williams will remain in the San Francisco Bay Area home she shared with the actor, and receive expenses to maintain the house for the rest of her life. The terms of the settlement are confidential.
Wagstaffe and Meredith Bushnell, who represents three adult children from previous marriages – Zachary, Zelda and Cody- said they expect the judge’s approval.
Susan also claimed a few had already been taken by the kids without her permission, reports ABC.
Schneider Williams filed a court petition in December, saying the contents of the Tiburon, California, home she shared with Robin should be excluded from the items the actor left to his children.
“While it’s hard to speak of this as a win, given it stems from the greatest loss of all”, says Williams’ wife Susan in a statement, “I am deeply grateful to the judge for helping resolve these issues…I can live in peace knowing that my husband’s wishes were honored”.
Susan Williams’ lawyer, James Wagstaffe, told Associated Press news agency that she would stay in the home, be provided with living expenses and keep possession of various items. It was not just money the stepmother and Robin’s kids were fighting over but also his personal belongings such as the actor’s bikes, awards, watches and family photos.

Williams” three children countered that Schneider Williams was “adding insult to a bad injury’ by trying to change the trust agreement and deprive them of items that their father clearly meant to leave to them.
