In the second half, Auburn took control, scoring on Johnson’s 11-yard pass to Smith. It turned out to be the difference in the game, as Johnson’s running ability and size were too much for Memphis to handle. With Robinson, Peyton Barber, Roc Thomas and Kerryon Johnson all returning next year there isn’t any reason that formula shouldn’t continue.
