Auburn to open SEC basketball schedule against rival Georgia

The Wildcats also travel to Mississippi State, Alabama and Missouri and will host Arkansas, Auburn, South Carolina and LSU at Rupp Arena.

The Tigers will also play Florida, Tennessee, Arkansas and Mississippi State at Auburn Arena and Kentucky, Vanderbilt, South Carolina and Texas A&M on the road. Playing Florida, Vanderbilt, and Texas A&M twice is good, and the Hogs will have some winnable road games as well.

Following the SEC opener against United Kingdom, the Rebels hit the road for a two-game swing at Florida Jan. 3 (ESPNU, 6 p.m.) and at Auburn Jan. 7 (SEC Network, 5 p.m.).

After a conference-opener with the Gators, Arkansas will immediately face back-to-back road tests, traveling to Tennessee on Tuesday, Jan. 3, before turning around and battling Kentucky on Saturday, Jan. 7 at Rupp Arena.

Combined with the conference schedule, Big Blue Madness, Blue-White scrimmage, and exhibition games, United Kingdom has 29 events scheduled to appear on either ESPN, ESPN2, CBS or the SEC Network.
