Audi India is set to launch the facelift version of its sedan A6 on Thursday. Apart from this, the updated A6 will also get Dynamic Turn indicators, a refreshed single-frame grille and new bumpers.

Matrix LED headlamps are the most awaited and biggest change in the facelift that are presently available on the A8, and RS6 Avant. The facelift also gets the addition of a chrome strip along the lower edge of the boot-lid. The A6 Sedan takes on the likes of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, BMW 5 Series and Jaguar XF in the mid-size premium Luxury sedan segment.

The cabin too in fact will receive some minor updates like new seat trims, a redesigned dashboard and a more powerful Nvidia Tegra 30 graphics chip for the MMI system. Large 8-inch display and a revamped navigation system will be offered on higher variants.

“We have seen increasing demand and success with our launches and are confident of setting new benchmarks for the luxury vehicle industry in India”, Audi India Head Joe King said in a statement. The 2.0-litre, four-cylinder TDI diesel will produce peak power of 174bhp and peak torque of 380Nm, while the 2.0-litre TFSI petrol engine will churn out maximum power output of 177bhp and maximum torque of 320Nm.
