A hazardous weather outlook issued early Tuesday morning, August 4, stated that heat index values could rise between 100 and 107 degrees on Wednesday, continuing to rise between 105 and 110 through the week and weekend. The chance for rain and thunder is still low-end.

Expect a mostly cloudy day today with temperatures reaching 80 degrees and lows tonight will drop to 64 degrees.
