August Jobs Report: Unemployment Rate Remains at 5.4%

The Vermont Department of Labor says the state’s unemployment rate held steady last month at 3.6 percent.

From August 2014 to August 2015, the state’s non-farm employment was up 41,100 jobs, according to the governor’s office.
