When Martin County, Florida, sheriff’s deputies arrived to a home on Monday night, they expected to find a fight. The teen took off some of his clothes during the attack, Snyder said, and when he arrived at the hospital, Harrouff was making “animal-like noises” and incoherent.
The man on the ground, described as being 40 to 50 years of age, died on the scene. Mishcon was in the garage.
Neighbors said the couple had chairs and a TV in the garage.
“John and Michelle were the nicest people”, neighbour Amy Lourie said. They would ride around in their golf cart with their dog. “It was the cutest thing” she said.
She said it isn’t surprising Fisher would try to rescue them, saying he and the couple were close friends.
His father, Dr. Wade Harrouff is an implantology and cosmetic dentist in the Palm Beach area, licensed since 1986, state records show. The frat brother, ID’d as Austin Harrouff, also tried to eat his victims’ faces. He was a star high school football player and an excellent student, the Miami Herald reported.
The suspect was initially identified by Snyder as 23-year-old Austin Michael Moore, according to the Palm Beach Post. Harrouff played defensive line and wrestled at the school before graduating in 2015.
Police then went into the garage, where they found the deceased victim’s wife, who was also killed.

Snyder said the attack – as bad a case as an experienced investigator has ever seen- happened in the garage with a switchblade knife and a multiple of “weapons of opportunity”.
Snyder said that tests will determine if Harrouff was under the influence of drugs. However, blood tests came back negative for methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin and other common illicit substances.
He viciously stabbed a married couple twice his age, plus a neighbor who tried to intervene, deputies said.
But after the drug strained emergency services and hospitals for almost two years, authorities had seen a significant decline in flakka use. “Somebody not feeling pain, not responding to a dog bite, repeated stuns from a Taser, taking three to four deputies and officer dog to get him off”.
In this latest case, authorities haven’t released the identities of the Florida man or the alleged victims associated with Monday night’s violent incident.

Snyder said Harrouff did not have any stab wounds, but he may have ingested something that caused an intestinal issue.
