Austin Kendall Provides Ohio State with Bulletin Board Material
He credited that to his time as an assistant coach at Colorado State in the 1990s under Sonny Lubick.

Baker Mayfield and the No. 14 Oklahoma Sooners play host to the No. 3 Ohio State Buckeyes at Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium in Norman for one of the marquee match ups of Week 3 of the college football season.
Last season, Oklahoma had no trouble scoring points.
The away team is undefeated in the series, which is in the Buckeyes favor.
The ball is out fast, Ohio State coach Urban Meyer said.
The comments caught the attention of the Buckeyes players.
Ohio State is a two point favorite and the over/under stands at 64. “Obviously, he knows that offense, you can tell, very well”. The potential Heisman hopeful is a two-time walk-on for both Texas Tech and Oklahoma and this is a strong indication of how great his work ethic is.
The Ohio State defense looks to replicate what have been a promising first two weeks of the season against an Oklahoma offense led by Baker Mayfield at quarterback.
Oklahoma is hoping to end its regular season on another undefeated run after dropping its season opener to the Houston Cougars 33-23. “I’d say there’s three guys in the country that do what he does, including him”.
While speaking on SoonerSports, Oklahoma backup quarterback Austin Kendall threw some trash talk the Buckeyes’ way by predicting Mayfield will “light them up”. His consistency and pure playmaking ability practically make him a lock for the first round in next year’s National Football League draft and he will be looking to make a statement this Saturday. But against the Sooners, Noah Brown or one of the other receivers will have to step up to loosen the defense. I hate highlighting underclassmen, because they are so prone to making mental mistakes in big game atmospheres, but Brown is phenomenal on the O-line.

“We want them to eat relax and have their meetings, and then it’s a matter of getting your mind settled down”, Meyer said. Brown was third team All- Big 12 last season and will be fighting to be first team this year.
