Australia look for Olympic cycling answers
“She’s clearly in super form, it sets her up well for day two”.

Jason Kenny and Laura Trott, Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
Britain’s Callum Skinner, whom Kenny beat in the individual sprint final after the pair took gold together in the team event, finished first in his repechage heat against tough opposition including London 2012 silver medallist, Germany’s Maximillian Levy.
“Usually when they shoot the gun someone gets disqualified, but it was very tight between us and that rule is very vague”.
“Laura Trott’s sister sounded bitter and jealous of her sister if you ask me”, wrote a bemused @HandyRachel, as @donna_x1979 agreed: “Laura Trott’s sister came across a bit jealous in that interview”.
The 15 British track cycling athletes have won a whopping 11 medals between them – six of which were gold, four silver and one bronze.
Every member of Britain’s track cycling team won a medal, as the team left the Rio Velodrome with six golds, four silvers and a bronze.
Last night, Laura retained her Omnium title after surviving the 100-lap, 25km points race at the Rio Olympic Velodrome, marking her second Olympic title in Rio, following the women’s team pursuit triumph on Saturday.
Weymouth-based Scott follows compatriots Iain Percy, in 2000, and Ben Ainslie, in 2004, 2008 and 2012, in winning gold in sailing’s Finn class. “It’s nice to be able to share the special moment”, Kenny said. I went there without expectations, so to win two golds was just incredible. “With them both being cyclists as well, it just helps to get other people in Cheshire excited about the sport in general, with the Tour of Britain just around the corner”.
Matthijs Buchli of the Netherlands won silver and Malaysia’s Azizulhasni Awang took bronze. “And look what I have just done”, she added.
Their places in Olympic history secured, Kenny is now looking forward to returning home and getting out of the glare that comes with the Games.
Upon the second restart, the race was absolutely terrific.
“I was well placed and I thought it was a massive call to make for a guy to make with the naked eye”, said Dyer.

Dyer insisted that Kenny should be counted among his country’s greatest ever sportsmen.
