Australian athletes burgled during fire evacuation at Olympic village

First, upon arrival at the Olympic Village, delegation head Kitty Chiller said their allotted building was not “safe or ready” to receive the athletes. Kitty chiller also revealed that three unidentified people were seen with the stolen t-shirts in the hotel during the evacuation of the building when fire caught in the basement of the Australia building and laptop was stolen from the cycling officials room on the fifth floor.

The fire broke out on Friday evening in the building’s underground parking lot, according to a statement from the team.
