Police later explained that the driving on motorized coolers in drunk condition was very much dangerous as many other drivers could not able to see this small vehicle hence chance of accident was greater.

They also explained that driving with a very little speed would made it visible to other drivers but he was driving it comparatively at high speed.

A 38-year-old man was charged with a similar offence in March after going on a motorized cooler on a bike path with a cooler full of beer, wine, and bourbon.

And in August 2011, a 23-year-old said he was having ‘a bit of a giggle’ when he was disqualified from driving for taking his ‘extreme cooler’ for a spin in Queensland.
