Authorities: 2 injured in shooting at mall north of Seattle

A manhunt was under way after a gunman killed at least three people and wounded two others late Friday during a shooting at a mall in the U.S. state of Washington.

Police are sweeping stores in Cascade Mall, searching for at least one shooter, according to Sgt. Mark Francis, a spokesman for the state patrol.

Troopers said they are looking for a Hispanic man wearing grey, who was last seen walking towards I-5 from Cascade Mall, CBS affiliate KIRO reported.

At least four people were killed and an unknown number wounded late Friday during a shooting at a mall in the U.S. state of Washington.

According to KOMONews, witnesses said the shooter walked into Macy’s and started shooting. It’s also unclear if there are more victims. Several people are believed to have been wounded. A police helicopter was aiding the search.

Authorities say four people were slain and the gunman was still on the loose.

Police transported survivors of the shooting to His Place, a nearby church, where they could be reunited with friends and relatives.

Authorities said the gunman fled the scene. It features Macy’s stores, restaurants and a movie theatre, NBC News added.

At least one suspect remains at large, armed with rifle. Police released a security footage photo of the man shortly after 9 p.m.
