At least three police officers have been killed and about 100 people wounded by a auto bomb at a police station in the eastern Turkish city of Elazig.
Three people have been confirmed killed, and at least 40 others injured, after two bombs went off in eastern Turkey on Wednesday.
This is the horrifying moment a wedding party turned to terror when a auto bomb rocked the Turkish city of Van.
There were also no claims for the attack in Van, a largely Kurdish province on the Iranian border.
“No terror organization will force this nation to cow in submission”, Yildirim said.
Early footage from the scene showed smoke rising from the area, and many buildings in the area were reportedly damaged.
The attack is believed to have been carried out by Kurdish militants, Anadolu said.
Over 500 members of Turkish security forces and thousands of PKK members have been killed in confrontations inside Turkey and in northern Iraq since last July. Human rights groups say hundreds of civilians have also died in the clashes.
Media coverage of the Elazig attack has been banned in Turkey.
