We don’t have any gameplay to go by, but Avengers Academy is described as a game with “narrative-driven stories” set in the teams younger years.
It’s an interesting experience where iconic characters are available as student versions.
“Whether its visiting Stark Tower or going on a date with Loki, players will soon be debating what’s the coolest experience of Marvel Avengers Academy”, Marvel Games Creative Director Bill Rosemann said in a statement about the game.
In the game, you can build your own Super Hero campus, outfitting it with things like training facilities, dorms, laboratories, classrooms, and sports stadiums. The players will have to unlock college-age version of Avengers. You see, these are the real deal Earth’s Mightiest Heroes (and Villains), complete with their distinct personalities, powers and personal struggles that we’ve all grown to know and love.
Disney, in another digital extension to a popular Marvel franchise, is launching “Marvel Avengers Academy”, a free mobile game in which users help teenage versions of Captain America, Black Widow, Iron Man and Hawkeye navigate the trials of superhero school. After which, they will be guided on their social life such as dating, interaction with others, upgrading and developing superpowers as well as preparing to become a superhero.
