Avram Grant slams Diego Costa
Avram Grant says he definitely would have given Diego Costa a dressing down following his antics on the weekend.

Costa’s relationship with manager Jose Mourinho seems to be deteriorating-he recently threw his training bib at the Portuguese after being benched-and Atleti are reportedly weighing up whether they should activate his £28 million release clause, per Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo (via Metro’s Sean Kearns).
Costa’s future at Stamford Bridge is uncertain following his bust-up with Jose Mourinho.
“They need to stop living in the past and saying last season was like this and this”, Grant said.
“But I did not like his reaction”.
The season has not gone to plan for Costa and Chelsea so far this season, and it looks as if the forward may find himself departing the club just halfway into his second season in west London.
“Publicly, I would not say anything but I would tell him face-to-face what I think of his behaviour and what he needs to do better to play”.
“It is not like this, it is too extreme”.
He added: “Bournemouth is a nice game to bring him back for and certainly not the sort of game which you’d go into without a big striker”.

Cahill, 29, had been in discussions with the club over extending a deal which had been due to run out in summer 2017, and has now committed his long-term future to the Premier League champions. Chelsea pitched consecutive shutouts against Maccabi Tel-Aviv (Champions League) and Tottenham Hotspur with the Cahill in the starting lineup last week.
