Singer Avril Lavigne has taken to Twitter after a Tumblr post compared her meet and greet photos with Taylor Swift’s meet and greet photos.

By the way, it’s not just fan meet and greets, this GLAMOUR writer met Britney Spears past year and check out my photo below… you could park a bus between us!
Though Swift didn’t add any further commentary, the simple act of liking the post made it seem like she approved of its shady message.
“Lavigne caught wind of the comparison via the Twitter account “@UnitedForAvril”, and responded on Sunday night.
The Tumblr post in question shows Taylor looking very friendly with her fans, while artists like Avril, Katy Perry and more looking distant with their fans.
Avril tweeted, “Comparison is judging and judging a person does not define who they are it defines who you are”.
It’s no secret that fans who attend an Avril Lavigne meet and greet might get a – how shall we put this – less than warm welcome.
Her fans helped her through a rough lyme disease diagnosis.
No stranger to her own screaming fan base, Taylor has been busy with her 1989 World Tour and has recently been putting on quite a show in a number of dazzling outfits.
For the record though, she was lovely, so it’s all good.

It juxtaposed images of some undeniably bored entertainers meeting their fans, with some of the Wildest Dreams songbird, 25, enthusiastically doing the same. “And it sounds silly saying it, but I really truly did feel my fans through the process”.
