Aww! Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth adopt rescue dogs

The two got together Saturday for a good cause: They met up at an adoption event for Wylder’s Holistic Pet Center and Rescue in Studio City, California, where Cyrus, 22, helped her ex-fiance adopt a new puppy. You helped find this big, 6-month-old puppy a new home.

According to Us Weekly, before Hemsworth and Cyrus’ visit to the adoption center, the “We Can’t Stop” songstress already sent a lot of dog photos to the actor so he could choose which one he would like to adopt.

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth seem to be on friendly terms since their breakup previous year. “Liam got back from China and literally came right to Wylder’s to take the dog home”. “@liamhemsworth you will give this deserving baby a great life!” the rescue center captioned a pic of the hunky actor kneeling next to Dora. Apparently, the show is his nieces and nephews’ favorite programme.

Cyrus also helped another pal, Flaming Lips’ Wayne Coyne, add a new addition to his family on Sunday – the pair picked up a black and white dog named Yogi from the Bella Foundation. News reports. The former couple is a huge fan of animals.

Liam recently opened up about his broken engagement to Miley, insisting the singer will always have a special place in his heart. It wasn’t just a fling.
