According to the Air France website, some children are eligible for reduced-fare tickets.

“The cloth bag belonged to a woman sat at the back of the plane”.

The woman was in the transit zone in Istanbul but was preventing from boarding her flight with the child, the source told AFP.

“At one point, she wanted to open it and its neighbour on the other row seats saw that something was moving inside”.

‘He alerted the crew who discovered inside a baby aged one or two’.

As for the passenger who noticed the baby in the bag, a crew member said he was “very shocked”, which is not surprising.

“Air France will fully cooperate with the investigation underway being conducted by the competent authorities”, according to a statement to Mashable.
