She’s been reunited with her father, but the fate of her mother is still unknown, Reuters reported.
The girl had no physical injuries and was being treated for dehydration, said Simon Ithai, a spokesman at the Kenyatta National Hospital.
Dealeryn’s father was able to identify the child after she was brought to the Kenyatta National hospital for treatment.
Nairobi County police commander Japheth Koome said, 23 people were dead and 136 were saved from the wreckage.
“We are managing her and conducting other investigations to determine her proper condition”, said Ithai.
The Red Cross in Kenya on Tuesday said it rescued a baby alive from the collapsed building in Nairobi’s Huruma estate four days after the incident.
After hearing that his baby is alive, RalsonWasike thanked God for protecting his only daughter, as per the report from Standard Digital.
“Some people are lucky and survive through air pockets well beyond our expectations…”
It has since emerged the house never had a plan nor was it approved by authorities.
The Interior Ministry said the Huruma building had been earmarked for demolition as it was built close to a river, but the order had not been carried out by local officials.
NAIROBI (Xinhua) – Death toll from a residential building which collapsed in Kenya’s capital, Nairobi last Friday has risen to 22 after two more bodies were retrieved on Monday. Including the woman now being dug out, workers have rescued a total of 137 people.

It’s unclear what caused the building to fail during the storm, but residents told the Red Cross the bottom floors caved in first.
