Why is this woman pining over Jared? I was anxious because the impression I was getting off social media is that everyone thought I was just too busy and had chosen to walk away from The Bachelor and one of its shows.
The Man With the Lamp: Brett, under the illusion that his three weeks on The Bachelorette made him a somebody, arrived with a date card in hand and chose to pursue Caila despite her connection to Jared, saying he wasn’t going to “settle”.
Could Jared and Caila make it as a couple post-Bachelor in Paradise? The twins Haley and Emily, Sarah and Ashley end up being the ones hoping that Daniel will keep them around. Ashley plays it off well, too. “But I really think the only reason that I feel okay is because I know I’m better than her, and I know how to get a reaction out of him”. Caila agreed to go on the date but changed her mind when Jared told her he didn’t want her to. She might have broken things off because she was interested in Brett, a.k.a. lamp guy from Season 10 of The Bachelorette, but who knows where that will even lead for either of them.
After their talk with Jade and Tanner, Jen is having some doubts about her relationship with Nick.
The date that they eventually sent Jared and Caila on was the exact same date they went on one year ago, so it was infused with good vibes.
After letting Jared know that she thought that Caila was only into him because she’s looking to live out the fairytale on camera that she didn’t get with Ben Higgins on The Bachelor – a theory that definitely wouldn’t shock us if it were true – she made a beeline for Caila herself. While Caila and Jared enjoy a romantic dinner, the two will discuss how the “teary-eyed bachelorette back in the house is holding them back”.
Here’s where things get shady.
When Bachelor in Paradise success story Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert returned to Sayulita, Mexico where they got engaged last season, the two were equipped with lots of advice for the couples and a date card to give away.
Uhm, what? Hold the phone.
Last week ended with some friction between Ashley and Jared and Caila, and once again, this week ends with even more friction between Ashley and Jared and Caila. Maybe it was all left on the cutting room floor, but this makes us believe that Jared had been quietly egging Ashely I.’s feelings on the entire time in “Paradise“. She ends up regretting going on the date and upsetting Jared. She wants to see more swag from him. “I guess like, it’s never going to happen between [her and Jared], but I have to find someone”, Ashley cries.
Daniel also tries to win over Ashley I….or something.

It’s very bad that Jared keeps stringing her along.
