Nemacolin Woodlands Resort sponsored the Pennsylvania trip, so the show awkwardly inserted a commercial into the show where JoJo and the boys talked about how much they loved the place (these Bachelor and Bachelorette product placements often contain some variation on the phrase “A great place to fall in love”, and this one was no exception). Fuming that Derek was playing “the wussy card”, Chad vented his hostility with a kick at an inflatable flamingo then called Derek out for a chat. Although I never thought he’d last THAT long, it seems JoJo is far less willing to put up with his insane mood swings than Ben was with Olivia last season.
“It’s my last chance to figure out who Chad really is”, JoJo says going into the date. Chad is kind of a maniac.
“She’s either an actress or she’s a complete a-hole”, Chad exclaims.

But instead of riding into the sunset, Chad makes a pit stop before hitting the road for good: at the boys’ compound.
