Amazon has already started their Black Friday sales on their website, and plans to include deals everyday through the holiday season. Instead, special sales will be available both online and in-store at the same time. Employees of the retail stores have to work on Thanksgiving, and it tears people away from Thanksgiving dinner if they plan to go to the store and shop.

While Walmart strategizes with a revamped Black Friday doorbusters 2015, Target will be beefing up its moves as well. The company expects 75% of holiday traffic this year to come from mobile. Wal-Mart’s stores typically are open 24 hours, every day of the year, so they are open all day on Thanksgiving, but the retailer makes its special deals available starting at a specific time on Thanksgiving night. Executives, at the time, said shoppers no longer wanted to deal with the stress of a single day of deals. Top Black Friday deals include 10 Televisions, Fitness Wearables, Video Game Console bundles, Home appliances and Hot toys.
“It’s our commitment that we are going to have product and that is one of our key advantages”, Steve Bratspies, chief merchandising officer, told Reuters reporters at a store in Secaucus, New Jersey. It should be kept in mind that nearly all Black Friday 2015 deals with a few exceptions will be available online at walmart.com. For example, Rosalind Brewer, president and CEO of Sam’s Club, believes that starting Black Friday sales on Thanksgiving evening will actually reduce stress, not increase it to maddening levels.
Target and Kohl’s are also offering numerous same instore deals online, and earlier.
This Black Friday, Wal-Mart will give out wristbands to customers for the most in-demand items, according to ABC, to try and avoid altercations in stores.
Also, by getting shoppers to visit a physical store, it discourages them from jumping ship to a competitor – something that’s effortless to do while browsing the Web.
