Backstreet Boys going a little bit country

After more than 20 years in the business, the Backstreet Boys are not slowing down anytime soon.

How can they top that?

Singer Brian (41) also took to Instagram with a shot in the studio and said the collaboration with the duo – comprised of Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard – is an entirely new experience for them. Along with it, he confirmed that the band will be joining forces with country band Florida Georgia Line.

Could this mean a new tour to relive our ’90s teen years?!

The Backstreet Boys – Carter, Howie Dorough, A. J. McLean, Brian Littrell and Kevin Richardson – hit their stride with the release of their self-titled debut album back in 1996. The possibilities are endless. “BSB feature with FGL”, Littrell wrote.

The caption reads, “Doing something we’ve never done before….”

The formerly famous fivesome have been making strategic appearances as of late, including performing on TV shows, singing at the Miss USA 2016 pageant, and announcing a Las Vegas residency.

EW is speculating that FGL stands for Florida Georgia Line, which could point to the band embracing a country sound on this record. “So that’s definitely going to happen, but we’re going to do a trial run first”. It would be interesting to see how fans react if BSB really does release more of a country album.
