Badaber attack: Ch Nisar angry for making terrorists profiles public

Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan Sunday expressed displeasure over revealing the information about terrorists involved in attack in Badaber camp.

In a statement, the minister said Pakistan would share all evidences with the Afghan leadership.

He went on to say that the identities of five of the attackers have been confirmed, while nine of them are yet to be identified. He said Pakistan neither feared Afghanistan nor was it answerable to it.

Talking to Parliamentary Under Secretary, the Interior Minister said that Pakistan gives great importance to its relations with the United Kingdom.

A new mechanism is being developed by both sides whereby, intelligence based cooperation will be enhanced to fight terrorism by improving the capacity of their institutions dealing with national and worldwide security.

He also underlined the need for taking concrete measures and actions against the financiers of terrorists at the global level to defeat terrorism.

He made these remarks in a meeting with British Secretary of State, Tobias Martin Ellwood who called on him at the Punjab House.

“Despite numerous sacrifices in the war, the government’s resolve has not weakened”, he added.
