Bajirao Mastani movie review by Deepika Padukone
When quizzed, PVR chef Ajay Bijli made a decision to play-safe and stated that equally “Bajirao” in addition to “Dilwale” are large movies for them-and there would not be much distinction within the screen-space discussed between your two. How can one possibly forget the powerhouse of talent Priyanka Chopra as Kashibai, describing her character as a “Child-Woman”, Queen Kashibai unknowingly becomes the pawn in the Peshwa-Mastani romance and holds on to her dignity despite being reduced to the Peshwa’s second wife in the magnum opus.

It has been Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s dream to make Bajirao Mastani since more than a decade now. The essence filled track Aayat features Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone in their emotional avatar. Wait for the movie which is releasing on 18th December, 2015.
Asked whether they knew the story of Peshwa Bajirao before signing the film, Ranveer said: “I did my schooling in Mumbai at a private school where Marathi was a compulsory subject till fifth standard. Suddenly Shah Rukh Khan chose to release on the same day as Bajirao Mastani”. Milind Soman, Mahesh Manjrekar and Tanvi Azmi pack a powerful punch. Just because this is a film with a big budget and a big cast? During that time Bhansali sir was not able to make this film due to various reasons.
Here, they both look more corporate than royal highness. The scene will remain to stay with you after the end of the movie also. From the war sequences to the songs, or just the sets.
Not very often do you come across a performance that leaves you so satisfied that you feel it is bigger than the film.
“It is well-deserving…the awards and accolades that are coming her way…one after the other outstanding performance”. Even she has only a few minutes role, her characterization was superb and crucial.
Already reports said that movie would be declared as super hit. Kiaara Sandhu, censor board member in middle east and one of the distributers in Dubai saw this movie and wrote her opinion on the flick. The cinematography handled by Sudeep Chatterjee was mind-blowing and spectacular.
The film will be having huge competition from “Dilwale”. Excellent cinematography and the artistic vision of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Even this is a historical movie movie never degraded Bajirao family story.
