The Great British Bake Off Final is on BBC One next Wednesday at 8pm.

The 19-year-old’s departure means that Ian Cumming, Tamal Ray and Nadiya Jamir Hussain will now be competing for the top prize in next week’s final.
In their signature challenge, the bakers must make chocolate pastry for a chocolate tart.
Both Ian and Nadiya have been named Star Baker three times, so is that a clue that one of them will triumph?
His homegrown bay leaves mixed into a caramel infused tart left Paul disappointed in the “king of flavour” though.
“Mary is absolutely wonderful, so is Paul Hollywood – they all are, to be honest”.
Flora’s signature challenge, a passion fruit and chocolate tart with macarons, also failed to impress with its flavour.
Nineteen-year-old Flora Shedden attracted a few criticism after the first episode, when she revealed she was more used to using an Aga than an oven – leading to accusations on social media that she was “too posh”.
Others continued: “Lingering handshake is the new Bulbous Salutation”, and: “Nadiya’s handshake has made me emotional”.
“I do feel sorry for Flora because she’s worked her socks off and I would honestly have thought that getting first place in the technical challenge in the semi-final would have saved her”.
Luckily for her, neither had the others, with the normally cool and calm Ian experiencing a major meltdown and mind blank over Mary’s mysterious recipe.
And former GBBO finalist Luis Troyano is backing Nadiya, because ‘she has shown wonderful creativity and managed to keep us all laughing with a great sense of humour’.
Finally, the showstopper challenge calls on the bakers to create artistic chocolate centrepieces.
She added: “I’m just as British as anyone else, and I hope I have proved that”. Sadly for Flora it seems unlikely that she’ll cause an upset as a long-shot for glory at 6/1.
“It doesn’t taste as good as it looks”, said Berry, of the elaborate biscuit and cake carousel.
When he’s not baking up a storm in the tent, Tamal is a senior house officer at an intensive care unit.
It’s unlikely to be the end of the young baker’s career in the spotlight though as experts predict she could be on course for a £150,000-a year career.

Having put her career on the backburner to raise her family and with their support, she now feels inspired to have her own adventure – and make them proud. The paranoid head-fu** of a show focuses on a small town GP who realises she can’t trust anyone around her, leading to… well, one or two bad life decisions.
