Bale says La Liga title is Real’s top target this season
“Of course it was a big achievement for us to qualify for Euro 2016”, he said of Wales’ first appearance at a major tournament since 1958. But the winger was off again representing his country in a World Cup qualifier against Moldova in the last few days.

On the worldwide front, Bale built on the rich vein of form he showed for Wales at Euro 2016 by scoring twice in a 4-0 win over Moldova on Monday, moving within four goals of equalling their all-time top scorer Ian Rush’s record of 28 strikes.
“We’re going for everything this season”, he added.
He told reporters on Thursday, however, that he would face Osasuna, declaring: “I’m ready”. “If I can do that then the goals will come”.
The news may also be a likely result of recent speculation about the unhappiness in the Real Madrid dressing room with Gareth Bale’s wage demands as they feel the Welsh superstar does not deserve such a significant raise on his current deal.
“That’s our focus this year although we want to win every trophy, including La Liga”.
“It’s important that we win LaLiga because we haven’t done so for a long time”.
In the three seasons since he left Tottenham Hotspur for Spain, Bale has won two Champions League titles with Los Blancos and is considered one of the world’s best midfielders. That’s our objective although obviously we want to win everything.
“I’m excited to play Osasuna this weekend, they’ll make things different for us but it’ll be great because the whole team is in good form”.

Spanish newspaper Marca reported earlier in the week that the forward, who scored 35 goals in 36 league games last season, will play 60 minutes against Osasuna as coach Zinedine Zidane eases him back into action.
