Balochistan CM however, had dismissed PM Modi’s statement and had said it was an attempt to foment terrorism in the province.

The resolution was supported by all political parties in the Assembly.
Mr. Bugti, president of the Baloch Republican Party and the grandson of Baloch nationalist leader Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti who was killed in an encounter with the Pakistani Army 10 years ago, also said the Baloch people “do not want to live with Pakistan anymore”, as he demanded a referendum of Baloch people under the supervision of the United Nations.
He said he wanted assurances that any government in Pakistan should guarantee the sanctity of the formula worked out for the protection of Baloch rights.
He said that the recent statements by the U.S. state department expressing concern would not be enough and that the USA should also stop the aid being given to Pakistan in the name of fighting terrorism.
Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Friday said that the country would continue to extend its moral, diplomatic and political support to the “freedom movement” Kashmir.
Since his statements, many Baloch leaders have expressed gratitude to Modi for bringing to global attention the excesses on the hands of the Pakistan security forces being suffered by the people of Balochistan. He claimed that the use of aerial bombardment and gases have become common in Balochistan, while referring to the province as the world capital of missing people.
“So far we have never received any support from any worldwide countries including India”.
In his latest response to his Pakistani counterpart Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry’s fresh invitation for talks, Foreign Secretary S Jaishankar once again emphasised the need for earliest possible vacation of Islamabad’s illegal occupation of PoK and conveyed that not just India but the larger region is aware that Pakistan is actually a “prime perpetrator” of terrorism.

“Our protest is for the people of Balochistan and for the human rights violation happening in Pakistan by the Pakistani state”, said a protestor.
