Another Tucker field goal, this one from 41 yards, gave the visitors a 25-20 lead. Instead, the Browns had another first-and-10 from the Ravens’ 30-yard line and McCown threw an interception on the ensuing play.

Outside of blocking an extra point for two points, it was the play that started Baltimore’s comeback. Crowell had 18 carries for 133 yards. Unfortunately, after putting up a 20 point lead, the Browns made mistakes. Unfortunately, the Ravens also had another half to improve. It takes someone with a lot of grit to line up at quarterback and expect to get hit often, and McCown did just that once again in Sunday’s game. He went to the locker room to be examined but returned and did not miss a snap.
“I couldn’t be more proud of these players and coaches”, Ravens coach John Harbaugh said.
The Ravens are on top 20-2 with 4:33 left in the first. Joe Flacco completed 23 of 34 passes for 258 yards and a touchdown to lead the Ravens. Wallace gained inside position against Haden during the play, which came four plays after Haden almost intercepted a deep ball on a go route to wide receiver Breshad Perriman. McCown slammed his helmet on the ground in disgust for throwing the pick once he got to the Browns sideline. Outside linebacker ZaDarius Smith and wide receiver Breshad Perriman are both listed as questionable, but probably will play. Terrence West runs for 50 yards and a touchdown. West was drafted by the Browns in 2014 and cut previous year.
Several times after being hit, McCown grimaced in pain.
“It was an OK day”, West said.
